by Gee Witchalls

Next weekend sees a new music festival for a great cause in Cornwall. Hosted by the YHA at Treyarnon Bay (a great location on the cliffs overlooking the bay) with proceeds going to ‘Breaks for Kids’.

The Breaks for Kids experience offers education outside of the classroom and promotes personal and team/social development and environmental awareness through exciting activities and challenges. The YHA believe every child should have the chance to enjoy some time away – to make friends, to grow in confidence, to increase self-awareness and to feel engaged and involved.

There is a fantastic line up in place, with 3 Daft Monkeys headlining on the Friday, and John Fairhurst and his band on the Saturday. Add to this acts including; Hedluv + Passman, Tobias Ben Jacob, Rum Puppets, The Brmwys, Atlantic Bridge, Susana Silva, Arthur Cunnington, Adam Westerman, Cataclews, The Beauty of Diagrams (plus more) and it promises to be a great weekend!

“Sperry Tents have kindly donated us a beautiful huge marquee for the music, stalls and pop-up Skinners Bar and another tent for children’s workshops and crafts. We will be serving food and drinks from our cafe/bar as well as offering a yummy BBQ. All our rooms are fully booked for the weekend but there are several campsites nearby.”

Don’t miss out on this very special event and support a fantastic local cause at the same time!
