Dickens wanted to draw as many people’s attention as possible to the grinding poverty and inequality that existed all around him in London. So what did he do? He wrote a funny and moving story about a heartless, mean-spirited old grump who learns to love life after being haunted by ghosts!’ says Director Bill Scott, ‘while the result may make us examine our conscience, it is also wonderfully entertaining: a gripping story, fabulous characters, festive singing, spooky surprises and uproarious comedy’.

Performed by an accomplished and multi-skilled cast of Miracle regulars, Steve Jacobs plays Ebenezer Scrooge alongside familiar faces from Cinderella, Jason Squibb, Catherine Lake, Hannah Stephens and Giles King. They will be joined by the addition of a talented local supporting cast, bringing an extra dash of Dickensian delight to the show!
