Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of unrelated yet nasty robberies and assaults in Cornwall this month.

12 year old robbed in Truro

Police are appealing to the public after a 12-year-old boy was the victim of a robbery in Truro.

The incident took place at around 5.45pm on Monday 13 November on Malabar Road in Truro.

The victim was shoved against the wall by a man and during the assault, had his black Alcatel Pixi 3 mobile phone stolen.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged about 25, 6ft tall, medium build, wearing a blue jumper, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

6am Assault and Robbery of woman in Camborne

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault and robbery in Camborne.

The incident happened around 6am on Tuesday 7 November.

The victim, a 32-year-old lady was assaulted near the junction of Enys Road and Hughville Street by three or more hooded young men. She was grabbed from behind and attacked by the youths, which left her with extensive bruising and other injuries.

Around £300 in cash and a Samsung S7 Galaxy Edge mobile phone were stolen from the victims’ handbag.

Police are keen to trace anyone with information about this attack.

Detective Constable Jules Lewis, from Camborne CID, said: “This was a particularly vicious attack on a defenceless lady and we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact police with any information.

“A group of young men would have stood out at this time of a weekday morning, so please contact CID if you saw anything unusual.”

Assault in Redruth.

At around 11.45pm on Thursday 16 November the victim, a local man in his 20’s was approached by a group of four men, three of which subsequently assaulted and stabbed him.

This took place in the street beside Pool Market, near to the Emanuel Gospel Church in station Road, Pool, Redruth.

The victim later attended Trelisk Hospital for his injuries.

The suspects are described as four white men, all in their early 20’, one wearing a brown hoody, one a green hoody. All had English accents, were white and were of skinny build.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area.
