Serious collision at Valley Truckle – Air Ambulance on scene

Emergency Services are currently at the scene on the B3266 at Valley Truckle, Helstone following reports of a head-on collision between two vehicles.

Police were called at around 12.10pm to reports that a blue car and a silver car were involved in a serious collision near the Valley Truckle, two miles outside Camelford.

There have been reports of several casualties as a result of the collision and the Air Ambulance is in attendance. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

One fire engine from Delabole, and one from Wadebridge, along with the rescue tender from Bodmin Community Fire Station and a whole time officer were immediately mobilised by Fire Control.

Crews used crash rescue equipment to release the trapped casualties.

The road has been shut on the B3266 on the Bodmin side whilst emergency services work at the scene.
