One woman in her 30s has died following yesterday’s accident at Valley Truckle.
The serious collision between two vehicles on the B3266 at Valley Truckle, a couple of miles outside Camelford.
Police were called at around 12.10pm to reports that a blue car and a silver car were involved in a head-on collision.
As a result of the collision, one woman has died of her injuries. Her next of kin have been informed. Three more casualties, two women and a man, were also hurt.
Fire crews attended and used crash rescue equipment to release the trapped casualties and the Air ambulance was in attendance.
The road was shut on the B3266 on the Bodmin side whilst emergency services worked at the scene.
Officers are seeking witnesses with information especially if they were in the area before or during the incident to come forward contacting police.
