New Frugi Flagship Store Open
Frugi, the Cornish company that has grown to be the UK’s leading organic children’s wear brand has opened a new flagship store at the company’s HQ in Helston.
The Frugi Shop stocks the full range of current season items as well as accessories, bedding and fabric by the metre.
The launch was well attended, with goody bags, nibbles, fizz and rainbow cake (naturally) for all. There was a lot of excitement over the new unicorn and llama prints, and the addition of some new colours to the Frugi palette, such as the beautiful soft grey needlecord elephant print.
Founded in 2004, the brand turned over £8m in the financial year 2016/17 and is on track to grow by 25% this year. In line with their sustainable and ethical ethos, recycled materials have been used where possible inside the store so that customers get the full Frugi experience. It also offers personalisation onsite allowing shoppers to purchase a unique gift.
The multi-award winning children’s clothing brand has a growing and loyal consumer base including celebrity fans Giovanna Fletcher, Alex Jones and Zara Phillips.
To celebrate this milestone, Frugi founders Lucy & Kurt Jewson hosted an exclusive pre-view event for local customers and press to visit the store for a sneak peek last week. The event coincided with the launch of the new Spring Summer ’18 collection which is inspired by the ultimate globetrotting experience – this range seeks out colourful wonders and undiscovered lands as it sets out to explore the world!
Commenting on the launch of the new Frugi shop, Lucy Jewson, Frugi’s co-founder said: “We are delighted to be opening a new flagship Frugi store! It feels like a real watershed moment for the brand. For all Frugi fans visiting Cornwall, our new shop will be a destination where they can enjoy the full Frugi experience in the place the brand was born!”
The store will be open Monday to Friday 9am– 5pm.
