DESCRIPTION:17th August- Newquay RNLI volunteer crew and fundraisers are looking forward to welcoming you to Newquay Lifeboat Day 2024.\n\n\nAnd here’s what we have in store…\n\n\n10.00am – Stalls open and Meet Mr F-T from Big F-T’s Shack Rock pooling Adventures to join a Rock Pool Ramble meet on the beach. Free to join – although donations are welcome.\n\n\n10.30am – Parade begins at the bottom of Marcus Hill\, lead by Kernow Pipes and Drums\, Newquay Mayor and Newquay Town Crier.\n\n\n11.20am – Parade arrives at Newquay harbour for the official opening by the Mayor of Newquay.\n\n\n11.30am – Presentation of Long Service Awards to Lifeboat volunteer crew.\n\n\n12 noon Newquay inshore lifeboats\, ‘Uncle Johnny’ and ‘Enid Mary’ will be launched to greet the volunteer crew of the ‘Spirit of Padstow’ all weather lifeboat.\n\n\n12.30pm – Demonstration by RNLI Lifeguards Newquay. .\n\n\n1:00pm – Arrival of Padstow Lifeboat with opportunities to tour the boat.\n\n\n1:30pm – Newquay Rowing Club Singers\n\n\n2:00pm – Newquay / Padstow Lifeboats demonstration.\n\n\n2:45pm – Announcement of raffle results.\n\n\n3:00pm – Stalls close.\n\n\n3:30pm – Walker Cup Gig Race – Lifeboat Crew race against members of Newquay Rowing club.\n\n\nAll day – Stormy Stan photo opportunities\n\n\n(Please note this timetable is a guide only.
