SUMMARY:The Oggymen
DESCRIPTION:From Falmouth\, The Oggymen have built a reputation for tight harmonies and inspiring performances that convey the rugged beauty of Cornwall. The Cornish have a proud tradition of expressing their loves\, beliefs\, hopes and fears through music. Songs chart the history of Cornwall’s past\, the hardships of life as a tin miner\, the peril of those at sea\, or longing for family and familiarity whilst working a long way from home. These songs are part of our culture; a bridge to both the past and the future. As we grew up in Falmouth we heard these songs regularly. Fathers sung them in male voice choirs\, friends sung them after working boat races and we all sing them down the pub…

SUMMARY:That Brit Pop Band
DESCRIPTION:That Britpop Band have quickly become widely regarded as the UK’s ultimate Britpop Tribute band\, covering songs from the genre’s obvious big-hitters such as Oasis\, Blur\, Pulp\, and The Verve; to the often-unsung heroes like Supergrass and Shed Seven. The band leave no Britpop-shaped stone unturned in their fast-paced\, high-energy tribute show. The band itself is comprised of four musicians whose combined gigging history would put the most seasoned of players to shame! Having played all over the world from New Zealand to Old Camden Town with the likes of Bill Wyman\, Bad Manners\, Babyshambles\, The View\, Ben Waters\, John Power (to name but a few)\, it’s fairly safe to say that these boys know their way around the stage!

St Ives \nSimon Armitage\, the Poet Laureate\, was born in Marsden\, a small town in West Yorkshire\, close to the moors. Much of his poetry makes reference to his experience of this landscape. Through the Ilkley Literature Festival he was commissioned to write site-specific poems which have been carved into the Pennine landscape. He first came to St Ives in 1999 the week of the eclipse\, finding last minute accommodation in Love Lane and has returned many times since. Although he doesn’t bring his computer he has said many of his poems have been originated when here. \n \n

SUMMARY:Harleymoon Kemp
DESCRIPTION:Harleymoon Kemp is one of the UK’s most exciting rising country-pop artists\, blending Nashville songwriting with sharp British storytelling and a confident\, modern edge. Her music is already making serious waves\, from viral hits like What Good Looks Like (5.6M views in 10 days) to her BBC Radio 2-supported single My Girls (Love Me Better)\, which held the No.1 spot on the iTunes Country Chart for four weeks. But it’s on stage where she really comes alive. Harleymoon’s shows are high-energy\, feel-good and full of personality — big vocals\, relatable lyrics\, and that “sing-it-with-your-best-friends” kind of atmosphere. She’s sold out her London headline show\, performed in Trafalgar Square for the Mayor of London\, and played major festivals including C2C\, The Long Road\, Brighton Pride\, Isle of Wight and BBC Radio 2 in the Park (where she duetted with Ronan Keating). She’s building something special — and audiences are feeling it.
