The Truro Classic Car Show Returns for a Spectacular Second Year

Truro City Centre is set to host the Truro Classic Car Show for its second year on Sunday, 28 July 2024. The event will run from 10.30 am until 3.30 pm, offering car enthusiasts a rare opportunity to admire a wide array of cherished classic and vintage cars. Spanning over ten decades, the vehicles on display will cover a historical journey from the 1900s through to the 1990s, all situated in the heart of Cornwall’s bustling city centre.

The Truro Classic Car Show promises to be significantly larger this year than its inaugural event. Extending beyond Lemon Quay, the exhibition will also take over Lemon Street and Boscawen Street, transforming the city centre into a haven for vehicle enthusiasts. The expanded venue space allows for a greater selection of exhibitors to showcase their prized automobiles, making it a must-visit event on a summer Sunday.

Visitors can expect more than just a display of classic beauty and engineering marvels. The event will feature a variety of automobilia and autojumble stalls for attendees to browse. Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music will entertain guests throughout the day. In a new addition for 2024, the show will introduce an array of new cars, including electric vehicles from local dealers, offering a glimpse into the future of motoring alongside the celebration of its past.

For those interested in exhibiting their vehicles, the organisers invite participants to reach out via email to sian.knights@trurobid.co.uk or by completing the online entry form available at https://form.jotform.com/240233765797365. This opportunity opens the door for classic car owners to share their passion with the public, contributing to a diverse and engaging showcase.

The Truro Classic Car Show is brought to the community by Truro BID, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, who will be conducting fundraising activities during the event. This collaboration not only highlights the cultural and historical significance of classic cars but also supports a vital cause, making the show a worthwhile visit for both car enthusiasts and supporters of Macmillan Cancer Support.
