Explore the Rainforest with a Paddington Twist

Visitors to the Eden Project can look forward to an exciting February half-term filled with Paddington-inspired adventures. Running from 15th to 23rd February, the programme celebrates the home release of Paddington in Peru by STUDIOCANAL. Families will navigate the lush Rainforest Biome in search of six treasures of the rainforest, uncovering hidden clues, solving puzzles, and revealing a secret word along the way.

For an exclusive treat in the South West, visitors can meet Paddington himself in a setting reminiscent of the Peruvian jungle. This special opportunity will be available from 17th to 23rd February.

Music and Creativity in the Mediterranean Biome

The Mediterranean Biome will host performances by three-piece band Katari, featuring traditional folk music inspired by Peruvian culture. Visitors can enjoy authentic melodies played on panpipes and other acoustic instruments, followed by guided music workshops offering an interactive experience.

For those looking to unwind, a cosy crafts area will provide a creative escape. Guests can try their hand at making knotted wristbands or get involved with Paddington in Peru-themed activity sheets.

A Celebration of Connection and Adventure

Simon Townsend, general manager of the Eden Project, expressed excitement about the programme:
Paddington in Peru is a heart-warming depiction of the diversity and spirit of the rainforest, and we are thrilled to showcase and celebrate that at the Eden Project this half-term in our own majestic Rainforest Biome and across the site.

“The Eden Project is all about connection, bringing people together and creating wonderful memories and so we are excited that visitors can spend a moment meeting Paddington here this February and can enjoy a host of fun activities together.”
