Hayle Business Week 2024: Networking, Insight, and Growth
Hayle Town Council is excited to announce the launch of Hayle Business Week 2024, a dynamic event designed to bolster local businesses and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit within the community. Scheduled to run from Monday, 26th February, through to Friday, 1st March, the event promises a week filled with insightful webinars, engaging networking opportunities, and empowering discussions tailored for entrepreneurs, creatives, and business owners in Hayle.
The week kicks off on Monday, 26th February, at 12 pm with an online webinar featuring Kirsty Miles-Musgrave from The Growth Hub. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the plethora of support and funding options available to local enterprises, setting the tone for a week of growth and collaboration.
On Wednesday, 28th February, at 10:30 am, The Quay Kitchen will host an Arts-Based Business Coffee Morning. This gathering is an invaluable opportunity for local creatives to network, join the Hayle Arts Directory, and discuss the future of arts events in the area. It’s a platform aimed at energising artists and entrepreneurs to explore new ventures together.
The entrepreneurial spirit continues on Thursday, 29th February, with a startup-focused online webinar at 12 pm. This session brings together expertise from The Growth Hub, Unlocking Potential, Oxford Innovation Advice, and the University of Exeter to provide aspiring business owners with critical tips, guidance, and resources necessary for launching successful startups.
Wrapping up the week on Friday, 1st March, from 8 am to 9:30 am, The Cove Café will host a Business Networking Breakfast, featuring a pivotal discussion on the potential for Hayle to become a Business Improvement District (BID). Mel Richardson, BID Manager for Newham BID, will lead a presentation on the BID process, followed by an open forum for questions and discussion. This event offers a unique chance for business owners to engage in a conversation that could significantly influence Hayle’s economic landscape.
Interested participants are encouraged to secure their spots for these events through Eventbrite for most sessions and here for the Business Networking Breakfast. Hayle Business Week 2024 stands as a testament to the town’s commitment to fostering a vibrant business community and supporting the growth of local enterprises.
