Cornish Pirates have secured the talents of 23-year-old Welsh scrum half Cameron ‘Cam’ Jones for the upcoming season, in a move that promises to bolster their roster.

Cam, born in Bridgend, began his rugby journey with Maesteg Harlequins, a local club that paved the way for his entry into the Ospreys regional pathway. Demonstrating his skills at an early age, he represented Wales at the under 16s level. Additionally, thanks to his Scottish grandfather, he qualified to play for Scotland and represented the country at the under 18s level.

Experience in Scottish Rugby

Cam’s career further flourished as he became part of the Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors setups. His tenure with Edinburgh Rugby was particularly notable as he played alongside current Cornish Pirates’ fly-half Bruce Houston.
