Shocking Hit & Run: Police Hunt Driver After Woman Seriously Injured In Davidstow

On Saturday, 29th June 2024, at approximately 8:15 am, emergency services were called to Hendrawalls Lane, Davidstow, near Camelford, following reports of a serious road traffic collision (RTC). A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, which then failed to stop at the scene.

Pedestrian Hospitalised with Serious Injuries

The injured pedestrian was immediately taken to Derriford Hospital, where she is receiving treatment for serious injuries. The exact nature of her injuries has not been disclosed.

Search for the Vehicle and Witness Appeal

The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run incident has not yet been located. Devon and Cornwall Police are actively searching for the driver and the vehicle. They have issued an appeal for witnesses who have not yet come forward to contact them.
