Street Performers To Shine Again At St Ives September Festival Thanks To Aspects Holidays
The streets of St Ives will come alive once again with vibrant performances as Aspects Holidays renews its sponsorship for the St Ives September Festival’s street entertainment. This exciting news ensures that the festival will kick off with two action-packed Saturday afternoons, featuring an impressive line-up of both new and returning performers.
Spectacular Saturdays on the Cards
The Festival will launch on Saturday, 14 September, with an array of entertainers set to delight local residents and visitors alike. The excitement doesn’t stop there, as a second “super Saturday” is planned for 21 September, promising more music and fun.
A Welcome Return
Kelvin Hopkins, one of the Festival directors and the organiser of the street entertainment programme, expressed his gratitude towards Aspects Holidays. “We are very grateful to Aspects Holidays for continuing their sponsorship of the Festival’s Saturday street entertainment for a third year,” said Kelvin. He highlighted that their support is instrumental in bringing a diverse range of performers to the event, enhancing the enjoyment for everyone attending the first two Saturdays of the Festival.
A Fortnight of Fun and Creativity
The St Ives September Festival, running from 14 to 28 September, offers a packed schedule of music and arts events. The festival aims to provide something for everyone, with daily music performances at various venues across town, films, exhibitions, art and craft workshops, walks, talks, and much more. Many events are free, including daily lunchtime music and poetry sessions in Norway Square.
Open Studios and More
One of the festival’s highlights is the Open Studios, where artists invite visitors into their creative spaces, some of which are not usually open to the public. This offers a unique opportunity to view and discuss their work.
For detailed information on all events, attendees are encouraged to visit the festival’s website. Whether on a laptop or mobile device, navigation is easy with the relevant pages accessible via the menu.
With the support of Aspects Holidays, the St Ives September Festival is set to deliver even more memorable experiences, celebrating community spirit and showcasing local talent.
