Cornish Oddfellows Unite with Members Nationwide at Informative Weekend Event

Delegates from the Plymouth and Truro District Oddfellows recently attended a weekend seminar at the Woodland Grange Conference Centre in Leamington Spa. The event brought together members from all over the country and provided updates on a wide range of topics, from welfare support and financial advice to exclusive member benefits.

Held at a purpose-built venue, set within parkland, the seminar offered members the opportunity to learn about welfare support, legal services, and other key benefits available to Oddfellows members. The weekend wasn’t just about presentations; it also allowed those attending from Cornwall to meet with fellow Oddfellows from across the UK, exchanging ideas and experiences.

Bill Cook Shares His Experience

One of the attendees, Bill Cook from West Cornwall, shared his thoughts on the event, stating, “This was an extremely informative seminar and very well attended with top-class presentations which updated us on the wide range of support available to members of the Oddfellows. It is true to say that once you are a member of the Society, you never find yourself alone in times of need and never without a friend when faced with one of the many issues life throws at you.”
