Nansledan to Shine Bright with Christmas Lights Switch-On and Festive Market

Nansledan is gearing up for a magical evening as the annual Christmas lights switch-on and market return on Saturday, 30th November.

The festive celebration promises an enchanting evening for all ages, featuring a Santa parade, live music, artisan stalls, and an array of food and drink. Here’s what to expect from this much-anticipated community event:

Santa Parade and Lantern Procession

The festivities will begin at 5:30 pm with Santa’s arrival in Stret Ewyn, opposite Country Cow Designs. Santa will lead a sparkling lantern parade to Parc Mengleudh, setting the stage for the evening’s main events.

Lights Switch-On and Festive Tunes

At 6:00 pm, the Christmas lights will officially be switched on at Parc Mengleudh, accompanied by a performance from the Indian Queens Brass Band. Visitors will also have the chance to meet Santa as the celebrations continue.

Late-Night Shopping and Artisan Market

From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, local traders will keep their doors open for late-night shopping, while the Kew An Lergh courtyard (located behind Sabzi) transforms into a Christmas market.

The market will feature artisan stalls offering unique gifts, live music, and a tempting selection of food and drink. Confirmed stallholders include:

• Duchy Nursery – Garden and homewares
• Langley’s Chocolate – Handmade chocolate treats
• Good Lyfe – Plastic-free and ethical products
• Beautifully Handcrafted – Natural candles, fragrances, and diffusers
