Cornwall Vintage Vehicle Society Raises £600 for Lifesaving Search & Rescue Team
Cheque Handed Over to Support Voluntary Service
Two call-out team members from the West Cornwall Search & Rescue Team were recently invited to collect a cheque for £600 from the Cornwall Vintage Vehicle Society. The funds were raised during a recent vehicle meet and raffle hosted by the group.
As a completely voluntary organisation, the West Cornwall Search & Rescue Team has no paid staff, and all money raised goes directly towards supporting their lifesaving efforts. The donation will help the team continue assisting those in need across Cornwall.
How to Get Involved
The team expressed their gratitude to the Cornwall Vintage Vehicle Society, who made the contribution possible. If you’re inspired to support the work of the West Cornwall Search & Rescue Team, there are many ways to get involved. You can download their Fundraising Pack to find ideas and guidance on how to help.
Every contribution helps keep this vital service running, and the team welcomes support from individuals and organisations alike.
