Can You Crack the Case? Half Term Mystery Trail Comes to Newquay Zoo
Young detectives needed for an interactive adventure with The Creature Cases!
Families visiting Newquay Zoo this February half term can put their detective skills to the test as a new interactive trail inspired by the hit kids’ TV series The Creature Cases takes over the zoo.
A Wildlife Mystery Awaits
In partnership with the producers of The Creature Cases, the Cornwall-based zoo has launched a themed detective trail, giving children the chance to become wildlife sleuths. As they explore the zoo, junior detectives will solve puzzles and uncover clues, all while learning about conservation and the animals that call the zoo home.
Kay Munday, Engagement Officer for Wild Planet Trust – the charity behind Paignton and Newquay Zoo – said:
“We’re bringing together entertainment and education in a way that really resonates with children. The trail encourages young visitors to engage with our animals through problem-solving and discovery, skills that are central to both conservation work and The Creature Cases series.”
Fun for All Ages
The detective trail is included in the price of admission and will run throughout the February half term. Successful young detectives will receive an exclusive Creature Cases sticker as a reward for their investigative efforts. Families can also download special mission kits from the zoo’s website to enhance their experience.
In addition to the trail, visitors can explore the zoo’s conservation programmes, indoor facilities, and play areas – making it an ideal family day out, whatever the weather.
