Who’s Behind the Damage? Bins Vandalised at Newquay’s Concrete Waves
Newquay Town Council appeals for information after skate park anti-social behaviour.
Newquay’s Concrete Waves skate park has recently experienced a rise in anti-social behaviour, with the latest incident involving vandalism to rubbish bins.
CCTV Captures Damage
According to CCTV footage, at 3.14pm on Monday, 17th February, bins within the skate park were kicked over and damaged, with their foundations removed. Some of the bins were later discovered discarded in nearby hedges.
Newquay Town Council is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Call for Respect
Concrete Waves is intended as a space for everyone to enjoy, and the council is asking visitors to respect the park and each other to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
“If you witness any concerning behaviour, please report it to the police or Newquay Town Council,” the council stated. “Let’s work together to keep our skate park looking great and running smoothly!”
