Sennen Footpath Signs Replaced – Do You Walk These Trails?

Published On: 14 March 2025Last Updated: 14 March 2025By

Two long-damaged footpath signs in Sennen have been replaced, thanks to the efforts of the West Cornwall Footpaths Preservation Society.

New Signs Installed

Following a request from Sennen Parish Council, the society replaced two fingerposts last week—one marking the footpath linking Mayon with Maria’s Lane and another for the path to Treeve Moor at Trinity Cottages.

The replacements were carried out swiftly and professionally, ensuring local walkers can navigate these routes with ease.

Working Together for Repairs

Sennen Parish Council, which has a budget for certain maintenance, collaborates with the West Cornwall Footpaths Preservation Society for additional repairs and sign replacements.

Residents can report any footpath signs in need of attention by contacting the Parish Council via their website. More details about the work of the West Cornwall Footpaths Preservation Society can also be found on their website.
