Head to Towan Headland this Sunday and join Newquay Marine Group for their monthly Seaquest Southwest Survey, part of a citizen science project run by Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Living Seas Team.
The surveys help to record sightings of Cornwall’s incredible marine megafauna, such as dolphins and porpoises, and contribute valuable data that aids the conservation and understanding of our coastal wildlife. Seaquest has been running for more than 10 years, building an important picture of life in Cornish waters.
Everyone is welcome — binoculars are provided and a local guide will be on hand to offer expert tips and share fascinating insights as you take part.
A brilliant opportunity to enjoy the coast, spot wildlife and support local conservation efforts.
