The Rocky Horror Show Returns to Cornwall This June

Expect fishnets, fun, and a whole lot of Time Warping at the Cornwall Playhouse

The cult classic The Rocky Horror Show is heading back to Cornwall this summer, bringing its unique mix of music, madness and audience participation to the Cornwall Playhouse at Hall for Cornwall. The show runs from Monday 23rd to Saturday 28th June 2025.

Global Phenomenon Comes to Truro

Since its humble beginnings in 1973, when it first opened to just 63 people in the Royal Court’s Theatre Upstairs, The Rocky Horror Show has become a global sensation. It’s now been performed in 30 countries, translated into 20 languages and seen by 35 million people around the world.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe, the show tells the outrageous story of two innocent college sweethearts, Brad and Janet, whose car breaks down outside a mysterious mansion. What follows is an unforgettable journey into the weird and wonderful world of Dr Frank-N-Furter.

Audiences can expect iconic numbers like Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet, and of course The Time Warp.

A New Cast Takes the Stage

This year’s production features a brand-new cast. Comedian and actor Nathan Caton, known for his appearances on Live At The Apollo, Mock the Week, and Russell Howard’s Good News, will take on the role of The Narrator.

Adam Strong, whose previous roles include We Will Rock You and Disney’s Aladdin, will be making his Rocky Horror debut as the eccentric Dr Frank-N-Furter.

Brad will be played by Connor Carson, Janet by Lauren Chia, Riff Raff by Job Greuter, and Magenta/Usherette by Natasha Hoeberigs. Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli takes on Columbia, with Morgan Jackson as Rocky and Edward Bullingham as Eddie/Dr Scott.

The ensemble is completed by Ryan Carter-Wilson, Arthur Janes, Hollie Nelson, Erica Wild, with Alex Hetherington as on-stage swing and Stacey Monahan as both on-stage swing and dance captain.

Dressing Up Encouraged

Last seen in Cornwall in June 2023, when the cast famously celebrated with a Cornish pasty and a Time Warp on the beach, the show is back with all the usual frocks, frolics and fun.

Tickets are expected to sell quickly for this limited run, which promises an unforgettable night out full of laughs, outrageous outfits, and audience shout-outs.

The Rocky Horror Show runs from 23rd to 28th June 2025 at the Cornwall Playhouse, Hall for Cornwall.
