He’s Staying! Cornish Pirates Prop Signs Up for 2025/26 Season

The Cornish Pirates have confirmed that James French will remain with the club for the 2025/26 season.

The 26-year-old Irish prop, who joined from Ulster last summer, has made 25 appearances in all games so far in his debut season and scored one try.

“Exciting Season Ahead”

Speaking about the new deal, James said:

“I am delighted to be signing on for another year with the Pirates. We have worked hard to develop as a team and, by keeping a strong core of this team, I believe we have built some momentum and set the foundation to push forward and have a very exciting season ahead.”

The announcement comes as the Cornish Pirates continue to shape their squad for the upcoming campaign.
