Update: Police Continue Search for Missing Woman in Truro

Police say they “continue to be concerned for the welfare” of a missing woman who may still be in the Truro area, and have now released images from her last confirmed sighting.

Last Seen on Monday Afternoon

Claire Bennett, 49, from St Austell, was last heard from at around 1.30pm on Monday 11th August. Following enquiries, she is believed to be in the Truro area.

Her last confirmed sighting was at 3.24pm the same day, leaving Truro Train Station.

Claire is described as a white female, around 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build. She has blonde hair, usually worn down, and was last seen wearing a white top, black cardigan and blue jeans.

Police confirmed: “We continue to be concerned for the welfare of a missing woman who may be in the Truro area, and we have released images of her last known sighting.”

Searches and enquiries are ongoing, and officers are urging the public to get in touch with any information.

Anyone who sees Claire or knows where she is should contact police on 999, quoting log 610 of 11th August.
