Royal Cornwall Hospitals Research Charity Ball Returns for Fourth Year
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) Research and Development team has confirmed the return of its 4th Annual Research Charity Ball, set to take place on Friday 24th April 2026 at a new venue, The Alverton Manor, Truro.
Over the past three years, the Ball has become a highlight on Cornwall’s social calendar, raising almost £10,000 to fund research that benefits patients across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
A Night of Elegance and Entertainment
This year’s Ball promises to be bigger and bolder, with a line-up including:
-
A drinks reception
-
Three-course dinner
-
Live entertainment
-
An auction with unique prizes donated by local businesses and supporters
Every pound raised on the night will go directly towards cutting-edge research projects and improving care for the community.
Why It Matters
Bianca Mills, Head of Research and Development at RCHT, said:
“The Research Charity Ball is a fantastic way to celebrate our community’s generosity while showcasing the vital role research plays in advancing healthcare. Each year we’ve been amazed at the support we’ve received, and we are thrilled to be bringing everyone together again for another unforgettable evening.”
Tickets Selling Fast
Last year’s Ball sold out quickly, and organisers expect the same again. Tickets are available now, with an early bird rate running until 31st October 2025.
Bookings can be made for both tables and individual tickets at this link.
The dress code is simple: dress to impress, dance the night away, and support lifesaving research.
