Rising Indie Rockers Fletchr Fletchr Announce Cornwall Gig on Debut Tour

Fletchr Fletchr have released their debut single Jet Black via FF Records and confirmed their first ever UK and Irish headline tour — with a date in Cornwall this November.

The four-piece guitar band will play Dead Famous in Newquay on 21st November, bringing their relentless indie rock sound to the Cornish coast as part of their 12-date run.

A Band on the Rise

Formed by vocalist and guitarist Rohan Fletcher, guitarist Adam Sanders, and drummer Oli Williams, the trio first came together as school friends before heading to the same university, where their new band started to take shape. George Green later joined on bass, performing just days after signing up.

The name Fletchr Fletchr carries a personal meaning. It pays tribute to Rohan’s late father, who was a strong supporter of the band. It also reflects the bond between Rohan and Adam, who once lived and worked together at Rohan’s family pub, becoming so close that friends joked Adam was part of the Fletcher family.

Debut Single Jet Black

Their first single Jet Black is described as a melody-driven, high-energy statement of intent. Speaking about the track, Rohan said:

“Jet Black was written when my girlfriend moved away to the city to start her career, and it felt like our relationship was changing in a way that felt out of my control.
I feel like the backing vocals and the pace of the song sounds like shouts of heartbreak and should hopefully ring true with anyone who’s in or has been a relationship, as all relationships inevitably change over time.”

Cornwall Date and Tour Schedule

The band will be touring grassroots venues across the UK and Ireland in November, but it’s their Newquay date at Dead Famous that will put them in front of a Cornish crowd.
