Climate Vision Launches Climate Skills Course in Cornwall
Climate Vision has announced the continued rollout of its Climate Skills through Creativity programme, a hands-on, accredited course designed to equip individuals and businesses with the confidence to take meaningful action on climate change.

Designed for Cornwall
Running through to January 2026, the programme blends advanced technology, real-world learning and expert-led training to help participants build resilience during this prolonged period of flood warnings.
The course was developed by Truro’s Luci Isaacson BEM MSc, who has over 25 years of environmental leadership experience. It was originally piloted through a Defra Pathfinder project.
What the Course Includes
In just 8–12 hours, attendees of any level gain insights into flood protection and other risks. They hear from experts from Mission Control, Exeter University and Cornwall Council, all delivered in an engaging and accessible format.

Workshops and a graduation event at Cornwall’s Climate Change Centre

A screening of the Aardman Animations film

Past Cornish climate stories with augmented reality

Real-world future scenarios at a Cornish hotspot

Access to a grant system for flood protection products

A private 1:1 flood risk snapshot
Who Can Take Part?
The course is open to all, from newcomers to seasoned professionals. Thanks to support from regional partners and Cornwall Council’s Culture and Creative Industries Innovation Fund, funded places are available for:
