Classic Cottages Sponsors New Sports Kit for Mylor Bridge C.P. School

Pupils at Mylor Bridge Community Primary School are celebrating after unveiling a brand-new sports kit, designed by one of their own and sponsored by holiday letting company Classic Cottages.

Winning design brought to life

Earlier this year, the school launched a competition inviting children to design a new kit for its league sports teams. After a wave of creative entries, Lucy’s design was chosen as the winner. Thanks to sponsorship from Hayle-based Classic Cottages, the kit has now been made into reality.

The new look was revealed when Classic Cottages Area Manager, Louise Dale, visited the school to present it. Members of the school’s Sports Academy were the first to model the winning design.

Louise, who is a former pupil at Mylor Bridge C.P. School, said:
“Supporting our local communities is a big part of what we do and we were delighted to provide Mylor Bridge C.P. School with a new sports kit. The pupils’ designs showed great imagination, and the winning entry looks very smart on the team. We hope the kit gives the children a real sense of pride and confidence as they represent the school in sporting events.”

Headteacher Hannah Pallôt added:
“Our pupils were so enthusiastic about designing a new kit. We had brilliant entries, so judging was a tough job, but Lucy’s design really stood out and we are delighted to see it brought to life. We are very grateful to Classic Cottages for their kind sponsorship, which has given our children something they can wear with pride at this year’s league events.”
