Police Appeal After Fatal Collision Near Lostwithiel
Two men in their 20s have died after a collision near Lostwithiel on Saturday 20th September.
Collision Reported at 9.45pm
Emergency services were called at 9.45pm to an unnamed road between Lerryn and Lostwithiel following reports of a single-vehicle collision.
Police confirmed that a blue Mini Cooper had collided with a wall outside a property called Oaklands. The vehicle then left the road and was later found on fire.
Two Lives Lost
The two occupants of the car, believed to be men in their 20s, were confirmed deceased at the scene. Formal identification is ongoing, but next of kin have been informed.
Emergency Services Response
The Roads Policing Team and local response officers attended the scene alongside Fire and Ambulance crews. Following a lengthy investigation, the road was re-opened.
Appeal for Information
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about it, especially dashcam footage, to come forward.
