Teylu Theatre Company to Present ‘This Is Halloween’ in Liskeard

Fangtastic fun is coming to Liskeard this Halloween as Teylu Theatre Company prepares for its first major performance, This Is Halloween, taking place at the Liskerrett Community Centre on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November at 7pm.

A Spooktacular Debut

Set up earlier this year, Teylu Theatre Company was formed to create performance opportunities for adults in the Liskeard area. The group has already made an impact with popular social and charity events, but This Is Halloween marks its first full theatrical outing.

The production will showcase the cast’s range of talents with a mix of haunting harmonies, devilish drama and petrifying poetry. The show features everything from Jekyll and Hyde and Monster Mash to Dracula and The Wyrd Sisters, blending song, dance, Shakespeare and plenty of laughs.

“An Evening of Spooky Fun”

“It is very exciting to be asked to direct the first show for Teylu,” said director Peter Woodward. “Hopefully this is the first of many successful productions.”

His enthusiasm is shared by musical director Jane Warwick, who added, “The Teylu cast have worked so hard to produce enjoyable and entertaining music and the end result will be an evening of spooky fun.”
