Police Announce Speed Enforcement Locations Across Cornwall This Week
Motorists across Cornwall are being urged to keep an eye on their speed this week as Devon & Cornwall Police ramp up enforcement across the region.
Focus on Speeding Across Cornwall
The force’s Road Safety Team has confirmed that speed detection officers will be focussing activity in several key areas each day this week.
According to the update, enforcement began on Monday in West Cornwall, St Austell, Plymouth, Mid Devon and Torbay.
Today, Tuesday 21st October, officers are operating across West Cornwall, Dartmoor, Plymouth, North Devon and Teignbridge.
On Wednesday, the focus will shift to East Cornwall, Plymouth, North Devon, Exeter, West Devon and South Hams.
Thursday will see operations in Plymouth, North Devon, West Devon, Mid Devon and Torbay, before moving to Redruth/Camborne and South East Cornwall on Friday.
The weekend will also see enforcement continue, with Mid Cornwall and North Cornwall scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday.
Reminder to Drive Safely
Police say that while these are the planned areas, other parts of Devon and Cornwall may also see enforcement activity throughout the week.
Drivers are urged to take care and stay within the speed limits wherever they are travelling.
