Longstanding Support for Falmouth RNLI
The Helford Passage Regatta has supported Falmouth RNLI since 2007, raising more than £26,650 for the charity over the years.
This year’s event took place on Saturday 2nd August, featuring a full day of water and shore-based activities. The water events included rowing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming races, while on land there was plenty of family fun with a children’s fancy dress competition, sandcastle building, egg and spoon and sack races, and a tug of war.

Visitors also had the chance to see Falmouth’s Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat Robina Nixon Chard, which was brought alongside during the regatta for people to view.
Accepting the donation from Tina on board the Station’s new Shannon class all-weather lifeboat Decibel Too, Jon thanked the regatta for their continuing support.
