Cornwall Innovation Welcomes Catherine Allinson to Drive Growth

Cornwall Innovation has appointed Catherine Allinson as its new Business Development Manager, marking a key addition to the team behind the network of business centres run by the University of Plymouth in partnership with Cornwall Council.

Experienced Leader Joins Cornwall Innovation

Catherine joins from her previous role as Director of Strategic Growth at Concept Marine Group, where she led expansion across several maritime sectors including defence, offshore renewable energy and luxury yachts.

In her new role, Catherine will focus on delivering a business development and customer engagement strategy designed to create vibrant and affordable workspace across Pool, Tremough, and the Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centres.

Her work will include developing strong relationships across the Cornwall Innovation network to support business growth and engagement. She will also contribute to the ongoing success of the centres by strengthening their profile and partnerships across the regional business community.
