Could You Be the Next Lifesaver at Penlee? RNLI Shop Needs Volunteers
The RNLI Penlee Shop in Causewayhead, Penzance is looking for new volunteers to help keep things running smoothly after several team members have become unable to carry out their duties.
Keeping the Shop Afloat
For many visitors, buying something from an RNLI shop is the first time they come into contact with the charity. Volunteers play a key role in creating a friendly and welcoming environment, helping to champion the RNLI’s work and its “One Crew” ethos.
Those who volunteer will support the day-to-day running of the shop, maintain a safe environment, and alert line management to any issues. The role also involves offering great customer service and helping to build the RNLI’s reputation in the local area.
Join the Crew
The RNLI says volunteering at the shop is an opportunity to meet new people, gain valuable skills, and have fun while making a real difference. Volunteers are part of the same crew that helps save lives at sea.
Anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a shop volunteer can call 07790 272519.
The RNLI Penlee Shop is located at 5 Causewayhead, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 2SN.
