Speed Checks Coming to Malpas Road in Truro

Drivers on Malpas Road in Truro are being warned to keep an eye on their speed, as Community Speedwatch has confirmed that speed enforcement activity will take place over the coming months.

According to Truro City Council, the group has been monitoring traffic and found that while many drivers are sticking to the 20mph limit, a “large number” are still exceeding it.

In a message shared by Community Speedwatch, they said enforcement action will now be taken to encourage everyone to drive safely and within the advertised speed limit.

Motorists are being asked to take note of the advance warning and to “watch your speed” as checks are carried out along the route.
