Police Speed Checks This Week: See Where Officers Will Be Watching 1st to 7th December
Devon and Cornwall Police’s Road Safety Team has confirmed the locations where speed detection officers will be operating throughout the week. The list covers key routes across Cornwall and Devon, with a reminder for all drivers to take extra care on the roads.
A week of planned checks
The schedule runs from Monday 1st December to Sunday 7th December and includes a mix of towns, rural routes and major roads. Officers will be carrying out speed checks in the following areas:
Monday
Launceston, Plymouth, Newton Abbot, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge
Tuesday
Truro, Helston, Redruth, Wadebridge, Barnstaple, A361 North Devon Link, Dawlish
Wednesday
Liskeard, Tiverton, Crediton, Woodbury, Exmouth
Thursday
Wadebridge, Exeter, Honiton, Torbay
Friday
Bodmin, Honiton, A30 (East), Exeter
Saturday
Launceston
Sunday
Wadebridge
Police reminder to all road users
Alongside the schedule, police shared a simple message: “Please drive with care and within the speed limits wherever you are this week.”
