Oddfellows Sunday Lunch Group Gathers for Festive Meal in Redruth

Published On: 3 December 2025Last Updated: 3 December 2025By

The West Cornwall Oddfellows Sunday Lunch Group is off to a flying start after its latest gathering at Tricky’s Restaurant in Tolgus Mount, Redruth drew more than two dozen people for an afternoon of food, company and festive cheer.

A Growing Social Favourite

The group, part of the Oddfellows Friendly Society, has quickly become a popular date in the diary. The most recent meet up brought members and their guests together for a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings, followed by a variety of desserts and plenty of relaxed conversation.

It was not just about the food. The lunch doubled as a chance to unwind and ease into the festive season in good company.

Competition News and a Look Ahead

Attendees were also told about the latest prize competition, which brought a bit more excitement to the table.

Guests were given a preview of the December events and activities planned in the lead up to the holidays, with more gatherings and community get togethers promised across the District.

The next Sunday Lunch Group meeting is scheduled for January 2026 and is expected to offer another friendly afternoon with good food and welcoming hospitality.
