Waste software automation specialist WasteBot Ltd is marking a significant milestone after working closely with Cornwall Waste Care to improve efficiency and cut costs across its operations.

The collaboration has seen a fully automated booking process introduced, replacing a large amount of manual data input and changing how bookings are scheduled day to day.

Major Savings Through Automation

WasteBot developed an automated booking system for Cornwall Waste Care that now handles more than 95 percent of booking scheduling. According to the press release, this has delivered savings equivalent to around three full time staff roles, estimated at £90,000, while also freeing up existing staff to focus on less repetitive and more meaningful work.

Rapid Growth for Cornwall Waste Care

Cornwall Waste Care specialises in collecting waste and recycling from holiday homes. While the business initially focused on Cornwall, it has recently expanded to cover both Devon and Cornwall.

The company is continuing on a rapid growth path, with the number of collections rising from 40,000 in 2024 to more than 48,500 in 2025.

What Cornwall Waste Care Says

Commenting on the partnership, Charles Scully, Managing Director of Cornwall Waste Care, said:

“Without a shadow of a doubt, Richard and the team at WasteBot have allowed CWC to reduce its costs, increase its efficiencies and increase the bottom line.

From a standing start, WasteBot now carries out over 95% of our booking scheduling, allowing the team to be proactive in acquiring new clients and developing the business into commercial waste collections.

My team and I very much look forward to long and rewarding relationship with Richard and WasteBot.”

How the Technology Works

WasteBot uses advanced software robots designed to replicate and integrate human interactions within digital systems. These automate business processes with accuracy and efficiency.

The WasteBot team has a combined 37 years of experience across the waste industry and software automation. This has enabled them to build a library of repetitive processes that are often carried out many times each day by human workers, helping businesses save time and money, reduce human error, improve employee satisfaction and enhance the customer experience.
