Woman Dies Following November St Blazey Collision

A woman in her 90s has died following a traffic collision in St Blazey last month.

What happened

Emergency services were called at 4.50pm on Friday 28th November after a collision involving an HGV and a silver Vauxhall Astra on Cornhill Road, St Blazey.

The female passenger in the Astra, who was from St Blazey, sustained injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital for treatment.

Death confirmed

Police have confirmed that the woman sadly passed away in hospital on 18th December.

Appeal for witnesses

Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured the collision on dashcam footage.
