Community Survey Launched for South Crofty Tin Project in Pool

Residents in and around Pool are being invited to share their views on the future of the South Crofty tin project, with a new community survey now open.

The survey has been launched by Cornish Metals plc, which is advancing its wholly owned and permitted South Crofty tin project in Pool, Cornwall.

What the survey is about

The short survey is designed to help Cornish Metals understand the priorities, needs, hopes and concerns of communities surrounding the South Crofty site. It also seeks local views on future mining development in Cornwall more broadly.

No mining knowledge is required to take part. Feedback gathered through the survey will form part of the company’s Socio-Economic Assessment for South Crofty.

Cornish Metals has said the aim is to be a positive and supportive presence in the local area, and that responses will help shape how the company engages with surrounding communities.
