Pool Academy Hosts Quiz Night to Fund Kenya Expedition

Pool Academy is inviting families and the wider community to a quiz night aimed at raising funds for an upcoming school expedition to Kenya.

The event is open to friends, relatives and community members, offering a relaxed evening of general knowledge questions while supporting students taking part in the trip later this year.

Supporting a Trip to Kenya

Pool Academy, part of Athena Learning Trust, is raising money to help cover the costs of the expedition for both students and staff.

During the visit to Kenya, students will be involved in building classrooms, improving access to clean water and supporting local wildlife conservation. The funds raised will help ensure the experience is accessible to everyone taking part.

Quiz Night Details

The quiz night will take place in the school’s Main Hall on Thursday 29th January, running from 5pm to 7pm, with the quiz starting at 5.30pm.

Entry costs £1 per person, and teams of up to eight people are welcome to take part.

Bringing the Community Together

The school hopes the evening will bring people together while raising vital funds for the Kenya expedition. It is one of several ways Pool Academy supports students’ ambitions, helping them gain skills, confidence and opportunities through international experiences.
