Appeal for Witnesses Following Robbery in Saltash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery was reported in Saltash on Thursday 15th January.

Officers were called shortly before 4pm following an incident in the Plougastel Drive area of the town.

What Happened

Police say a female victim had left the leisure centre and was walking towards the junction at the end of Plougastel Drive when she was approached by a male suspect. She was assaulted and her bag was taken.

Arrest Made

A man in his 30s, from Saltash, was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of robbery. He remains in police custody.
