Wolf Alice to Open the 2026 Eden Sessions at the Eden Project
Acclaimed North London band Wolf Alice have been announced as the opening act for the 2026 Eden Sessions, with a headline show set for Tuesday 16th June 2026.
The band will perform in front of the iconic Biomes at the Eden Project, marking another major name added to next year’s live music line-up in Cornwall.
A Big Year Leads to a Cornwall Date
The announcement follows a standout year for the band, including the release of their critically acclaimed number one album The Clearing, a headline performance at the Glastonbury Festival, and a sold-out arena tour featuring two nights at London’s O2.
Wolf Alice are made up of singer Ellie Rowsell, guitarist Joff Oddie, who is originally from Cornwall, drummer Joel Amey and bassist Theo Ellis.
Speaking about the upcoming show, the band said:
“So excited to be playing down in Cornwall at the Eden Project this year! It’s one we’ve wanted to do for some time and in such a beautiful place.”
From Debut to Chart-Topping Success
The band first gained widespread attention with their debut album My Love Is Cool in 2015, which included the Grammy-nominated single Moaning Lisa Smile and earned a Mercury Music Prize nomination.
That success continued with Visions of a Life in 2018, which went on to win the Mercury Prize. In 2021, Blue Weekend delivered the band their first UK number one album and a Brit Award for Best Group, while also becoming the best-selling album of the year for independent record shops in the UK.
Their latest release, The Clearing, arrived in August 2025 and debuted at number one on both the UK Albums Chart and the Official Vinyl Albums Chart. The album was written in Seven Sisters and recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning producer Greg Kurstin. It features the single Bloom Baby Bloom and the piano-led track The Sofa, which The Sunday Times described as “as perfect a package as any song this year.”
Eden Sessions Line-up Takes Shape
Simon Townsend, Eden Sessions director, said:
“Wolf Alice are one of the most exciting bands of their generation with music that feels powerful yet familiar. This is going to be a truly unforgettable night and continues to solidify this year’s Eden Sessions lineup as the best yet. What better way to celebrate the Eden Project turning 25 than by announcing one of Britain’s biggest bands for this special show!”
The Eden Sessions combine live music with access to the Eden Project’s gardens and Biomes. All ticket holders receive free entry for two days, covering the day of the show and the following day.
Already confirmed for the 2026 Eden Sessions are Snow Patrol on 18th June, Becky Hill on 20th June, Pixies on 26th June, Bowling for Soup and Frank Turner on 5th July, Bastille on 9th July and The Maccabees on 11th July.
