South West Set for Wet and Windy Days Ahead

Wednesday brings another windy and unsettled day across the region. Rain is expected at times and may be heavy in places, although conditions could turn more showery later. Thursday is expected to be mainly cloudy and damp, with rain or heavy showers becoming frequent and prolonged in places. Winds will be lighter overall, though still blustery at times. There may be some brighter spells later in the day, particularly in Cornwall. Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach around 10°C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Further rain is expected on Friday, with some persistent spells in places. Conditions are forecast to become somewhat drier over the weekend, although a few showers are still likely and skies are expected to remain largely cloudy. Temperatures are set to turn a bit colder, with breezy conditions at times continuing into the weekend.
