A woman has been arrested in St Austell after police said she breached a court order aimed at preventing further offending.

Arrest After Alleged Breach

In a post shared yesterday by St Austell Police, officers confirmed that Anya Curtis was arrested on Wednesday 28th January after being identified as breaching her Criminal Behaviour Order, also known as a CBO.

A CBO is a court imposed order that places conditions on individuals to prevent or deter criminality or anti-social behaviour.

Conditions of the Order

Anya was made subject to the order due to persistently engaging in shoplifting. One of the conditions prevents her from entering retail premises where she has previously been banned.

Police allege this condition was breached after she was identified on CCTV entering Farm Foods in St Austell.

Court Appearance

Following her arrest, Anya was charged and remanded in custody. Police said she was due to appear at court for sentencing.
