Bloor Homes marks New Homes Week at Saltash developments
Want £10,000 Off Stamp Duty? New Homes Week Hits Saltash
Bloor Homes is marking the start of New Homes Week 2026 by highlighting energy efficient homes at its Treledan development in Saltash, alongside a Stamp Duty incentive available on selected neighbouring homes by Fitchett Homes.
To coincide with the national campaign, Bloor Homes and Fitchett Homes are drawing attention to modern housing options in the area, with Fitchett Homes offering a £10,000 contribution towards Stamp Duty on selected properties reserved before 15th February.
What is New Homes Week?
Now in its 21st year, New Homes Week is led by the Home Builders Federation and aims to showcase the benefits of new build homes. It also provides a platform for buyers, homeowners and the home building industry to explore the value of modern developments.
This year’s campaign is fronted by online presenters Olivia Bowen and Tayo Oguntonade. The theme for 2026 is ‘Power to Move’, focusing on the advantages of buying a new home compared with an older property and highlighting how straightforward the moving process can be.
Support for buyers in Saltash
Bloor Homes is using New Homes Week to highlight the support available to buyers at Treledan in Saltash, including its Part Exchange and Assisted Move schemes.
Sara Parker, Sales Director for Bloor Homes’ Exeter region, said: “New Homes Week is an excellent time for people wanting to move home to find out the ways in which we can help make that happen. We are proud to introduce Fitchett Homes, part of the Bloor Homes family, which offers a select number of two to five bedroom homes, and for a limited time, purchasers will benefit from our £10,000 contribution towards Stamp Duty on selected plots.
“Meanwhile, purchasers looking to secure a new Bloor Homes property at Treledan can make the most of our Part Exchange and Assisted Move schemes. Over the years, both have helped thousands of people with an existing home to sell to move quickly and seamlessly to their chosen new home with us.”
How Part Exchange and Assisted Move work
Part Exchange allows Bloor Homes to purchase a buyer’s existing property at an agreed price, meaning the buyer can move into their new home without being part of a property chain.
Assisted Move supports buyers through the sale of their existing home by arranging valuations, instructing a local estate agent, keeping sellers updated throughout the process and reducing or removing certain fees. The aim is to take as much of the work out of selling as possible so buyers can secure a new home at Treledan.
Industry view on New Homes Week
Neil Jefferson, Chief Executive at the Home Builders Federation, said: “Buying a home marks a major milestone in our lives, yet for many, achieving that dream has become increasingly challenging. This New Homes Week we’re spotlighting the much-needed support home builders provide to make buying a new home more accessible removing barriers and reducing uncertainty to make the goal of homeownership more achievable. By ensuring people understand their options and the benefits of buying a new build, we hope to empower more would-be buyers to take those steps to moving and beginning the next chapter of their lives.”
