Speed Cameras Across Cornwall and Devon From 9th to 15th February

Drivers across Cornwall and Devon are being advised to take extra care this week, with speed detection officers scheduled to work in a wide range of locations.

The checks are being carried out by the Devon & Cornwall Police Road Safety Team during the week commencing Monday 9th February 2026.

Each day will see officers deployed in different towns, rural areas and on major routes across both counties.

Monday 9th February

Speed detection officers will be working in Redruth, Hayle, Bodmin, Liskeard, Wadebridge, Plymouth, Taw, Torridge, Tiverton, Cullompton and Exeter. Checks are also planned on the A380 in South Devon.

Tuesday 10th February

Areas listed for Tuesday include Liskeard, Launceston, Bodmin and Plymouth. Officers will also be covering the A38 in South Devon, Mid Devon, Exeter, Crediton, Whiddon Down and West Devon, along with Totnes.

Wednesday 11th February

On Wednesday, speed checks are planned for St Austell, Truro and Redruth. Other locations include Ottery, the A30 in East Devon, Exeter and Crediton.

Thursday 12th February

Thursday’s locations include St Austell, Truro and Falmouth, alongside Bodmin and Launceston. Officers will also be working on the A386, around Okehampton, the A3052 in East Devon, Tiverton and the A361 North Devon Link.

Friday 13th February

Checks on Friday are scheduled for Helston, Redruth, Penzance, Liskeard and Bodmin. Additional locations include Dartmoor, Plymouth, the A38 in South Devon, the A361 North Devon Link, the A379 in South Devon and Dawlish.

Weekend locations

On Saturday, officers will be working in Dartmoor, Plymouth, the A39 in Torridge and the A380 in South Devon.

On Sunday, planned areas include Plymouth, Mid Devon and the M5, South Devon and the A38.

Drivers are being reminded to drive carefully and stay within the speed limit wherever they are travelling throughout the week.
