CMAT Set to Close Eden Sessions 2026 With Summer Show

Irish singer songwriter Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, known professionally as CMAT, has been announced as the final act for the 2026 Eden Sessions, performing on Wednesday 15th July.

Fresh from a BRIT Award nomination in the Best International Artist category, CMAT will take to the stage as part of an international tour supporting her latest album, EURO-COUNTRY.

From Ireland to a Cornwall Stage

CMAT has emerged as one of the most distinctive voices from Ireland in recent years, earning praise for songwriting that blends pop, country and indie influences with sharp humour and emotional honesty.

Her debut album, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead, won the Choice Music Prize for Album of the Year. Its follow up, Crazymad, For Me, went on to receive a Mercury Prize nomination, further cementing her reputation across the UK and Ireland.

Her growing profile has also been recognised with BRIT Award nominations in 2024 and 2026, an Ivor Novello Award nomination for Best Album, and inclusion on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

Known for Standout Live Performances

Renowned for powerful and charismatic live shows, CMAT is behind viral singles Take a Sexy Picture of Me and I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!. Her live performances have included a set on Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage, alongside large sold out tour dates.

A Milestone Year at the Eden Project

CMAT will close the 2026 Eden Sessions, marking the biggest line up to date during a milestone year as the Eden Project celebrates its 25th anniversary.

All ticket holders receive free two day access to the gardens and Biomes, valid on the day of the show and the day after.

Other artists already announced for the 2026 Eden Sessions include Wolf Alice on June 16, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts on June 17, Snow Patrol on June 18, Becky Hill on June 20, Pixies on June 26, Bowling for Soup and Frank Turner on July 5, Bastille on July 9, The Maccabees on July 11 and Mika on July 12.

Ticket Information

Tickets for CMAT at the Eden Project on Wednesday 15th July 2026 cost £56 plus a £7.30 booking fee and are available via edensessions.com.

Tickets are on sale now for Inside Track pass holders. General sale opens at 10am on Thursday 12th February 2026.
