Unsettled weather is set to continue across South West England this week, with further rain, mist and occasional brighter spells in the days ahead.
Tuesday 10th February
Today is expected to start off murky in the east, with areas of mist or fog and some patchy drizzle. Conditions will turn wetter from the west as a heavy band of rain moves eastwards through the day. It will feel breezy at times, particularly along the coast. Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach around 12°C.
Tonight
The rain will become more showery overnight, with some locally heavy bursts expected. There will be a few drier and clearer spells later on, although it will remain breezy and fairly mild for the time of year. Minimum temperatures are expected to stay around 6°C.
Wednesday 11th February
Wednesday will bring showers to start with, mixed with some dry and brighter spells. By around lunchtime, conditions are expected to turn mostly dry. However, further locally heavy rain is likely later in the day, especially in southern areas. Breezy conditions will continue, with highs of around 12°C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday
The weather is set to turn cooler and drier as the weekend approaches. Thursday will still see further rain or showers, though these are expected to ease on Friday. By Saturday, conditions are forecast to be mostly dry and bright, although it is likely to feel rather chilly.
