The weather across the South West is set to change this week, with forecasters warning of wet and windy conditions and the possibility of snow on higher ground.

Today: Frosty Start Before Rain Moves In
After a frosty start in some areas, Tuesday morning will be mostly dry with spells of sunshine.
Cloud will gradually increase from the south west as the day goes on. Wet and windy weather is expected to develop across Devon and Cornwall later.
Maximum temperature 7°C.
Tonight: Rain Spreads Across the Region
The evening will begin dry, although it will remain cloudy in the east with the chance of an initial patchy frost.
Wet and rather windy weather in the west will gradually extend to all areas overnight.
Minimum temperature 1°C.
Wednesday: Heavy Rain, Hill Snow and Gale Force Winds
Outbreaks of rain are expected on Wednesday, turning heavy and persistent at times. Snow is possible on the Moors, particularly later in the day.
It will also be strong to gale force winds.
Maximum temperature 8°C.

Outlook: Brief Brighter Spell Before More Wind and Rain
Rain and snow overnight into Thursday will clear, leaving a sunnier but chilly day with lighter winds.
Friday and Saturday are expected to turn milder. However, some rain is forecast and it will become windy again.
The unsettled conditions are expected to last through to Saturday 21 February.
